First post of the year! While I was out shooting today I could not resist capturing the texture that an out going tide leaves on our flats in the Cape Cod bay. This was the last shot of the day that had decent lighting, a cloud front was moving in fast and just flattened out all the light within minutes. Luckily the clouds did sneak into this composition though; their slight motion blur reflects the lines of perspective in the sand.
