When traveling across country you can really get wrapped up in getting from one destination to the next, well my son makes sure we don’t fall into that rut. After driving quite a few hours he let us know it was time to pull over. We found a great grove to let him run around. It was amazing. We all loved it. Capturing a photo in a redwood forest is kind of tricky, the best advice I can give you is to see the trees for the forest. What I mean by that is you have to figure out how to isolate your subject, if you just fire off a picture of a tree you may get home and see that that tree just blends right into the forest and you wount really know what you were making a picture of. Use light, color or depth of field to separate your subject from the background.
